The Foundation

Jamhouse was built from a shared vision between Shermona and LJeh—two creatives, two leaders, and one household committed to building something that serves both their family and their community.

What started through Mommie’s Teahouse and JamOKC86 Radio has grown into something bigger than separate ideas. Together, these platforms became the foundation of a unified space—one that supports creativity, connection, and community.

Jamhouse is that space.

Jamhouse operates as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, allowing us to serve the community through programs, events, and creative opportunities while accepting tax-deductible donations that help sustain and grow the mission.

Built to Serve, Create, and Connect

The House

Jamhouse is not just an event or a brand—it’s a house.

A house where:
artists are discovered
people feel welcomed

creativity has room to grow

and community is built consistently

Every part of Jamhouse is designed to give individuals a place to step into something bigger than themselves.

The Blueprint:
Jamhouse is built with intention. Every part of the house serves a purpose

The Blueprint

The Front Room - Events

This is where people first walk in.

Through experiences like:

Open Mic

Discover the Mic

Listen & Skate

Off the Mic: Game Night

Covenant Connections

These events create opportunities for people to connect, perform, and be part of something real.

The Rooms - Programs

These are spaces for growth and development.

Jamhouse Academy — where creatives learn, build, and gain real experience

Jamhouse Kids — where the next generation is supported and given opportunity

These rooms are built to develop people, not just showcase them.

The Marketplace — The House Market

This is where creativity becomes sustainable.

A space where:

Artists can access their media

Creatives can build and sell their own merch

The community can support the movement

The House Market allows what’s created in the house to live beyond the moment.

The Doors — Community & Partnerships

The doors of Jamhouse are always open.

Whether you:

  • perform

  • volunteer

  • partner

  • a vendor

  • donate

  • or support

There is a place for you here.

Jamhouse was built to serve both home and community.

It reflects the balance between:

  • creativity and structure

  • vision and execution

  • family and purpose

Everything created through Jamhouse is designed to work together—not separately—so that what is built continues to grow, support others, and create lasting impact.
