Meet Lawrence "Ljeh" Johnson
Lawrence grew up as a preacher’s kid and has lived a life deeply rooted in the church, experiencing many different denominations and ministry styles. These experiences gave him a unique understanding of both the beauty and challenges within the church. Instead of staying silent about the struggles, he developed a passion to be part of the solution building bridges, creating spaces of authenticity, and pointing people toward relationship over religion.
Lawrence has a Bachelor’s in Criminology, studied seminary at Oklahoma Christian University while pursuing chaplaincy in the military, and was officially ordained as a pastor on September 8, 2025. For 18 years, he has served in the U.S. Army and is currently preparing for promotion to Captain. He has served as a youth pastor, worship leader, and sound/production director while also working with nonprofit organizations like Mission OKC.
His heart for artists comes from his own journey as a Christian hip-hop artist known as LJeh (the “EH” standing for Jehovah). His music, including his song Waiting for You, allowed him to understand the struggles artists face. Today, instead of pursuing fame, Lawrence pours his expertise into developing others, mentoring artists, coaching creatives, and helping them thrive in both ministry and artistry. He is also the founder of The LJeh Show, a podcast that grew from music and culture into leadership, faith, and community impact.
Lawrence is known as a leader who can be relied on, a connector who bridges diverse communities, and a speaker who inspires others to walk boldly in their calling.

Two Callings, One House, One Mission.
JamHouse Ministries is the blending of two God-given callings into one unified vision. Lawrence and Shermona Johnson have been married for almost 10 years, serving side by side in ministry and in life. Their marriage is the foundation of the mission showing how God uses unity in the home to impact the world.
Together, they are building a ministry that pours into artists, families, and communities with faith, creativity, and authenticity. Their story is one of partnership, perseverance, and passion: two unique callings, joined as one house, with one mission to glorify God and strengthen His people.

Meet Shermona "Mona" Johnson
Shermona’s story is one of resilience, strength, and pouring into others. At just 19, she became the legal guardian of her two younger sisters after the loss of both her parents. This experience shaped her into a natural-born nurturer a mother, sister, and encourager long before she became a wife and mom.
She is the founder of Mommie’s Teahouse, a ministry and brand designed to educate, inspire, and heal through the beauty of herbs, tea, and Christ-centered community. From selling teas and aprons with scripture, to leading Bible studies and mentoring young girls, Shermona has always carried a passion for helping women embrace their identity in Christ and live authentically.
Her background includes psychology and child development studies, teaching leadership and life skills at nonprofits, serving as a lactation counselor, and even working as a makeup artist empowering women and young girls to see their God-given beauty. She is a homeschooling mother, a military wife, a writer, and a visionary leader.
Shermona has embraced motherhood as ministry. She finds joy in creating a Christ-centered home, loving her husband and daughters, and pouring into others with encouragement and authenticity. She believes God has called her not to be “polished,” but to be real and through that authenticity, she has become a safe space for many.
Shermona is also an author, preparing to release three books in 2026, including The Strength of the Motherless, where she shares her journey of loss, resilience, and God’s redemptive plan to use her pain as purpose.
